    Midsummer Recap

2026 has been a big year for B.A.B.E. so far, here is a recap of the shows we’ve played this year and some things to come!

February 21st we travelled all the way to Atkins, AR to play at Blackwell Revival. We enjoyed great steaks, a bar full of retro memorabilia, and dancing.

March 28th we had our debut show at 906 Cocktail & Cigar Lounge. After our original date got rescheduled due to winter weather, we were excited to get to play and had a great turnout.

May 2nd we got to play at Prima Italia during The Steelhorse Rally. We got to overlook Garrison Avenue on the Prima Italia balcony, and this was our first show playing with Ben and Van.

May 9th we travelled to Branch, AR and played at MJ’s Bar & Grill. The food was great and the staff was very welcoming.

May 15th we played at Hero’s and got some great photo and video content.

May 16th we had an acoustic show at JJ’s in Fort Smith, AR. We had a request for Tyler Childers songs and Ben Ammons went up and sang a couple solo.

May 5th and 6th we had a couple of acoustic shows at Tonita’s in Pocola, OK and at JJ’s in Fort Smith.

June 12th we travelled to Sallisaw, OK to play at the Akins Store Lower Feed Room. We enjoyed some great barbecue and had a special appearance from Brandon Chase Goldsmith and Honest Review America.

June 14th we played at a private birthday party, we received a request to play an Elvis song which we learned during a break.

June 26th we had our debut show at Digs in the Fort Smith Bakery District. Our sound setup was immaculate and we had an awesome time playing.

June 27th we travelled to Eureka Springs to play at Chelsea’s. Well worth the drive, this venue was the most big-time feeling stage we have played on. We can’t wait to visit again!

July 3rd we played at P-MAC 2.0 in Poteau, OK. Always a fun time here, we played with special guest David Tyson on lead guitar and Van played bass guitar for this show. David played trumpet for a few solos!

July 4th we celebrated Independence Day at a private party. We played with special guests David Tyson and Mason Brown. They had great food, fireworks, and hospitality. We played Tennessee Whiskey for a slow dance song as couples danced the night away.

That’s half of 2026 in the books, and we still have shows booked ’til December!

Next Saturday on July 18th we are playing two acoustic shows. One will be at the Chaffee Crossing Farmers & Artisans Market from 11am to 1pm, and that evening at JJ’s Grill Fort Smith from 7pm to 10pm.

Our next full-band show will be at La Huerta on Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith. We will be playing on the patio that evening.

If you still haven’t gotten to see us live, we hope you can catch a show soon. Each one keeps getting better and better!

    B.A.B.E. at Hero’s 2/13/2026

Last Friday the 13th, B.A.B.E. had the pleasure of playing at Hero’s in Fort Smith, AR. From 7 to 10 PM, the night was full of music, energy, and moments that reminded us why we love what we do.

The evening featured some of our newest originals, “Washed in the River” and “Sins of the Father,” alongside a set of songs that felt like home. A special highlight was Carla Strohmeyer joining us for “Dreams,” which the crowd embraced with open arms.

We closed out the night with “Hurricane”, a song that captured the energy and connection of the evening. Afterward, we stayed to hang out with fans, share stories, and soak in the incredible support from everyone who came out.

In the photo from the night, pictured from left to right: Ty Goff (lead guitar & mandolin), Saille Branch (bass & slide guitar), Krystalla Martin (lead vocals & bass guitar), Brandon Lee (drumset & rhythm), Josh Cormier (tenor & alto saxophone), and Harlan James (guitar & keyboard).

We are deeply grateful to Hero’s for hosting us and to every person who came to share the night. Your energy, smiles, and applause make these evenings possible.

Here’s to more nights of music, connection, and everything in between.

Featured on the EP is a new song called “Washed in the River”. This song was written to remind us about the healing powers of Mother Earth’s natural waters. With that nostalgic feeling that you only got as a child jumping into the closest river, stream or lake, Washed in the River has cleansing powers!!!
